As most people know, poison gas is dangerous, life threatening, and deadly. It was first used by the French in WWI. There are four different types of poison gas; tear gas, mustard gas, phosgene gas, and chlorine gas.
TEAR GAS:
Tear gas was the first gas used and if you were exposed to this gas you would start scratching and coughing.
MUSTARD GAS:
Mustard gas was the most fatal gas and did most of the harm. This gas would cause blistering, internal bleeding, and vomiting. But the gas would not effect the human until after 24 hours after it has been exposed to the human being.
PHOSGENE GAS:
Phosgene gas was created right after chlorine gas and has a delayed effect. Phosgene would cause the victim to choke and suffocate until dead.
CHLORINE GAS:
Chlorine gas was used at the battle of Ypres and it was considered as a yellow green cloud. This gas got into the respiratory organs and the people would have a slow painful death.
